"ELPIDA" European Awards
The idea for establishing the “ELPIDA” European Awards” arose out of the European Conference entitled “Europe with a human face – Help to the Sick Child” organized by “ELPIDA” in March 1994. The awards are presented every four years to individuals and organizations that deal with the problems of children who suffer from cancer while, at the same time, “ELPIDA” is working on an international level in order to set the foundations for a collaboration of all NGOs that focus on cancer.
